Post-natal Mum and Baby Yoga
The post-natal period is a special time when you can really connect with your new baby, as well as begin to heal your body after birth. Mother and baby yoga promotes healing, teaches you baby massage skills and also encourages the pair of you to have fun.
It also builds baby’s strength and co-ordination through songs and movement. After the class we adjourn to the cafe for tea, cake and socialising! The class is suitable for babies from a few weeks old, it’s about when you feel ready for it.
Don’t worry about your baby crying or needing to feed, in every class we have babies filling their nappies, crying, feeding, giggling, sleeping and doing whatever they feel like doing. Mum and baby is a very supportive environment for mums and babies where you feel nurtured. Dads and other carers are also welcome as are twins and triplets!
Other mum and baby yoga classes say that your baby is welcome until they start to crawl, however my policy is that as long as you have control over your little one then you are welcome for as long as both of you still enjoy the classes. In the past we’ve had babies come till they are over one year.
I very much look forward to meeting you and your beautiful baby!
