Retold by theatre company Brave Bold Drama, Peter Pan is a celebration of creativity and invention. Performed by two actors, with live original music and imaginative audience participation, this production takes inspiration from J.M. Barrie’s original novel. Expect playful theatre that will encourage everyone, big or small, to let their imaginations take flight. You might even end up being a lost boy. Or a pirate.
And it doesn’t end there! After the show, it’s the audience’s turn to take over the stage and get hands-on with our kit. You could try on Hook’s hat, make a mermaid dance or meet our puppets John and Michael Darling. Act out the bits you liked the best. Or use our kit to make up something completely new and magical. Whatever your imagination desires!
Back by popular demand, Peter Pan has been delighting audiences in theatres and schools across the South-West since November 2015. We’re very proud that Peter Pan has been the first theatre experience for many children, and so many parents have told us how delightful it was to see their children utterly captivated by the show.
Spellbinding. Thoughtful and beautiful production. Appealed to all ages. Loved the original songs.
Brave Bold Drama
Brave Bold Drama are a Bristol-based theatre company. We make drama for education and community and theatre for all.
We fervently believe that drama and theatre are for everyone, and our productions and our workshop programme reflects this. Our productions have pleased audiences ranging from 18 months to 80 plus. We take creative workshops to children’s centres, schools, community events and care homes.
We like to take our theatre out and about. We stage pop-up performances in cafes, bars, and even bread shops. We devise innovative street theatre for community festivals and events. We like to engage the community by creating ways for people to contribute ideas when we are making new shows.
We take our family shows to schools, putting them on just after school finishes so children’s families can join them to watch together. We aren’t afraid to tackle more grown-up themes with our theatre too. We also like playing in arts centres and theatre spaces as well as at fringe festivals.
In a nutshell, we are brave and bold with our drama. Hence the name….
