MC – Tom Glover
One of the westcountry’s most sought after MCs, Tom Glover is a regular host at more than half a dozen clubs across the south west. Burst onto the scene in 2010 as part of the South West Comedian of the Year competition Tom went on to reach the final of the Bath Comedy Festival Competition and win the Swanage competition and is now a regular on the circuit known for his quick witted audience interaction and his hilarious tales of westcountry life.
Opener – Phil Cooper
Lovable Welshman Phil Cooper is one of the most exciting and unique new comedians in the country today. A lilting Welsh accent combined with a brilliant mind for tackling the real minutiae of life, Cooper has an apporach to life that you can’t help but enjoy and an ability to turn the most mundane of occurrences into comic gold. Delivering surreal observations on everything from the moon landings to his own childhood in the Welsh valleys.
“Impossible not to be drawn into his expertly delivered dialogues as he rifts off audience interactions – Top class comedian” -Ministry Comedy
Headliner – Nick Page
BBC presenter turned comedian, Nick Page has been performing his own personal brand of stand up on the worldwide comedy cicuit for the past decade.
Recently crowned runner up in the English Comedian of the Year final, Nick has built up a never ending wealth of outlandish tales about his runs ins with the law, ex partners and ladies of the night. A born cynic who cannot avoid mischief, Nick also has some of the best ideas going for smartphone apps, fizzy drinks companies and what you can do with a highlighter pen.
“A huge dose of likeability with some very clever material” Bath Chronicle.
Alf – Recently crowned Comedy Gladiators champion Alf is a quirky blend of Tim Vine and Harry Hill providing one liners and prop comedy that only he could dream up. A brilliant blend of innocence and madness that often has audiences in fits of uncontrollable laughter and with a list of gags to tell at work the next morning.
Jo Duncan – Teacher turned comic, Jo lives in Bristol and loves gigging around the South West. Over the past year she has been named a 2016 So Yo Think You’re Funny semi-finalist, and ‘One to Watch’ for 2016 by Funny Women. She has appeared in a TV series ‘Live from the Glee’ filmed for MADE:TV, made appearances on BBC Radio Bristol and other local radio stations and also took two compilation comedy shows to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
